About Us

Food Allergy Center of Connecticut developed as a subsidiary of Allergy & Asthma Care of Fairfield County in 2012. As food allergies continued to increase in prevalence, the physicians and staff at Allergy & Asthma Care recognized the value of our extensive experience with food allergy diagnosis and management. With the FDA approval of Palforzia peanut powder for oral immunotherapy to peanut, we now have an active treatment for peanut allergy that is proven safe and effective. Following solid research and treatment protocols established at centers around the country, we now offer this same desensitization process for other foods as well.

Our clinical staff has many decades of combined experience in the diagnosis and management of food allergy, and we can now utilize our knowledge and skills in this area to implement a high quality, state of the art treatment center for desensitization of food allergies.

We offer compassionate care in our comfortable office setting, and over the next year will be expanding our facilities to provide more space and more appointment options to our patients, and will be adding a Fairfield location for oral immunotherapy.
